Recently we won two separate settlements for the victims of intentional torts who suffered brain damages at work. One case involved a 22-year-old man who was critically injured when he was run over by a forklift at work. Our investigation showed that his employer was aware that the forklift's backup alarm was not operable and the vehicles rear lights had been removed.

The second case involved a 27-year-old man who suffered serious brain injuries at work when he was struck by a CAT scan table that collapsed while he was assembling it. Our discovery demonstrated the company was aware of the table's propensity to collapse. The company routinely supplied its customers a safety device to secure the table, but failed to supply the device to its own employee.
