INTENTIONAL/WORKPLACETORT LAW
Under Ohio law, employees injured on the job are entitled to worker's compensation benefits. As a result, the injured employee cannot sue the employer for negligence in causing those injuries. However, if the employer is aware of dangerous conditions that lead to the incident and required the employee to perform the task, they may be responsible for the employee's injuries and damages in a civil lawsuit.
